This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to every order placed on fulloffice.ca. Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under the consumer protection legislation of your province or territory.

1. Where we ship

We ship within Canada only — all ten provinces and the three territories. We do not ship outside Canada, and we cannot ship to a Canadian address for onward export. This is a contractual condition of our distribution agreements, not a preference.

You can buy from us no matter where you live. What determines the destination is the store, not your location:

  • fulloffice.ca — ships within Canada
  • fulloffice.com — ships within Mexico
  • Our United States store — ships within the United States

We do not ship to freight forwarders or to addresses whose purpose is re-export.

2. Order processing time

We process orders within 24 business hours of receiving payment. Processing means verifying stock, confirming the order with the warehouse and generating the shipping label.

The delivery clock starts when your tracking number is issued, not when you place the order. You will receive that tracking number by email as soon as it exists.

Orders placed on weekends or statutory holidays are processed on the next business day. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding federal and provincial statutory holidays.

3. Delivery times

Destination Estimated delivery
Metropolitan areas of the main provinces (ON, QC, BC, AB) 24 to 72 hours
Remaining provinces, rural areas and territories 3 to 8 business days

These times are measured from the moment the tracking number is issued and are estimates provided by the carrier, not guaranteed delivery dates. Weather events, carrier service disruptions, customs-free interprovincial checkpoints in the territories and force majeure can extend them.

If a delivery date is guaranteed for your order, it will be stated in writing in your order confirmation. Absent such a statement, the times above are estimates.

4. Carriers

We ship with FedEx, DHL, UPS, Canada Post and Purolator. We select the carrier based on the destination, the weight and dimensions of the shipment, and the nature of the product. If you need a specific carrier, contact us before placing your order and we will tell you whether it is possible and at what cost.

5. Shipping costs — free across Canada

Shipping is free on every order, anywhere in Canada. No minimum purchase, no threshold, no exclusions by province or postal code. You will not see a shipping charge at checkout because there is none.

That includes the surcharges most retailers pass on to you. We absorb them:

  • Remote-area and beyond-destination surcharges. Northern Canada, the territories and remote postal codes carry an extra carrier fee. You do not pay it.
  • Fuel surcharges and handling fees. Not charged.
  • Oversize and heavy items. Products that exceed standard parcel dimensions or weight ship at our cost like everything else.

The only amounts added at checkout, all displayed before you pay, are:

  • Environmental handling fees / eco-fees (EPRA and provincial programs). Where a province levies an environmental handling fee on an electronic product, it is shown as a separate line before you confirm.
  • Sales tax. See section 6.

The total you see when you confirm your order is the total you pay. We do not add shipping charges, handling fees, fuel surcharges or any other cost after the order is confirmed. If for any reason we cannot ship your order at the price quoted, we will contact you and give you the choice to approve the difference or cancel with a full refund. We will never charge you more than the amount you confirmed.

6. Sales tax

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). GST, HST, PST or QST is calculated at checkout according to the province or territory of the shipping address, at the rate in force on the date of the order:

Province / Territory Tax
Alberta, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon 5% GST
British Columbia 5% GST + 7% PST
Manitoba 5% GST + 7% RST
Saskatchewan 5% GST + 6% PST
Ontario 13% HST
Nova Scotia 14% HST
New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island 15% HST
Quebec 5% GST + 9.975% QST

Your invoice shows the tax charged and our registration number, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency.

7. Orders that arrive in more than one shipment

We work directly with the distribution centres that hold the inventory. An order with several products can therefore ship from more than one warehouse and arrive in separate boxes, on different days, and with different tracking numbers. This never costs you more than the shipping quoted at checkout.

Some products ship complete only: if one item of a multi-item shipment is on backorder, the whole shipment waits for the missing item unless you ask us to split it. If you prefer partial delivery, contact us — if the additional freight has a cost we will tell you the amount before charging anything.

8. Backorders and stock

Inventory moves quickly. If a product becomes unavailable after you order it, we will contact you within one business day with the estimated restocking date and you may choose to wait, substitute the product or cancel with a full refund.

9. Your right to cancel if we do not deliver on time

Under Canadian provincial consumer protection legislation, if we do not deliver your order within 30 days of the delivery date we promised (or, where no date was promised, within 30 days of the order date), you may cancel the order and receive a full refund of everything you paid, including shipping.

To exercise this right, write to help.ca@fulloffice.com with your order number. We will process the refund to the original payment method. This right stands even if this policy or any other document says otherwise.

You may also accept the delivery late. Accepting a late delivery does not waive any other right you have.

10. Delivery address, PO Boxes and undeliverable parcels

You are responsible for the accuracy of the shipping address, including the unit, suite or buzzer number. Verify it before confirming your order.

  • Address changes are only possible before the tracking number is issued. Write to us immediately. Once the parcel is in the carrier's network we cannot guarantee a change, and the carrier may charge an intercept fee.
  • PO Boxes can only be served by Canada Post. Courier shipments (FedEx, DHL, UPS, Purolator) and freight shipments require a street address. Orders addressed to a PO Box that cannot ship by Canada Post will be held until you provide a street address.
  • Undeliverable parcels. If a shipment is returned to us because the address was incorrect or incomplete, because access was denied, or because the parcel went unclaimed after the carrier's holding period, the return freight and the cost of reshipping are payable by you. If you prefer a refund instead of reshipment, we will refund the product less the outbound and return freight actually incurred.
  • Failed delivery attempts. Carriers generally attempt delivery up to three times or leave the parcel at a pickup point. Track your shipment and collect it within the carrier's holding window — an unclaimed parcel becomes an undeliverable parcel under the rule above.

11. Damage in transit — what to do

Inspect the packaging before you sign.

  1. If the box is visibly damaged, refuse the delivery. Do not accept it. Tell the driver the reason and contact us the same day. We take it from there at no cost to you.
  2. If you already accepted it and then discovered the damage, you have 48 hours to report it to help.ca@fulloffice.com with photographs of the outer box, the packing material, the label and the product.
  3. Keep all original packaging until the claim is resolved. Carriers require the packaging in order to inspect a claim; without it the claim is usually denied.

Damage in transit is resolved at no cost to you: we pay the return freight and we replace or refund the product.

12. Wrong or missing item

If you receive a product different from the one you ordered, or an item is missing from the shipment, report it within 3 business days of delivery to help.ca@fulloffice.com, with photographs of the product and the label. We pay the return freight and we send the correct product.

13. Parcel marked delivered but not received

If the tracking shows the shipment as delivered and you did not receive it, tell us within 3 business days. We open an investigation with the carrier. Carriers require up to 15 business days to close a trace before we can reship or refund; we will keep you informed and we will not close your case without an answer.

Check with neighbours, the building's concierge and around the entrance first — this resolves most cases in a few hours.

14. Batteries and dangerous goods

Products containing lithium batteries (laptops, UPS units, power banks, cordless devices) are classified as dangerous goods under the IATA, IMDG, TDG and ADR regulations. These shipments:

  • may ship by ground only, which can extend the delivery time to remote destinations;
  • cannot be sent to a PO Box;
  • cannot be forwarded internationally or re-exported under any circumstances;
  • cannot be returned to us once removed from service or damaged — a damaged or swollen battery must be taken to a provincial recycling drop-off point (see epra.ca/provincial-programs). Do not put it in a parcel.

15. Signature on delivery

Higher-value shipments require an adult signature on delivery. If nobody can sign at the address during business hours, use a work address or the carrier's pickup point — you can select it from the tracking link. We cannot authorize a carrier to leave a signature-required parcel unattended, and we cannot honour a claim for a parcel released without signature at your instruction.

16. Shipping and returns are not the same thing

This policy covers getting the product to you. What happens if you want to send it back — the time limits, who pays the return freight and any applicable charge — is set out in our Refund Policy. Read it before requesting a return. In every case, a return requires an RA number issued by us before you ship anything; parcels sent back without one are refused.

17. Contact us

Anything in this policy can be resolved by email, phone or WhatsApp:

Always include your order number. It speeds everything up.
